2010 OLD NORTH END NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOLARSHIP
Dear Student,
The Old North End Neighborhood (ONEN) Board is excited to be able to offer two scholarships, $1000.00 each, to seniors in high school who live in the neighborhood and who are pursuing a higher education opportunity after graduation from high school.
In order to be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Live in the boundaries of ONEN (see map)
- Submit the completed application form.
- Attach a statement describing one of your school or community experiences.
- Submit two letters of recommendation - one from a teacher and the other from a person outside of your school who is not a relative.
Please mail your application, statement, and letters of recommendation by March 31, 2010 to:
The two scholarship recipients will be presented with their award at the ONEN Annual meeting on Wednesday, May 29, 2010. You will receive notice prior to this meeting.
