Received the email regarding the increase in burglaries in the area and appreciate the effort of the ONEN Security Patrol. I have noticed them in the neighborhood. Thought I'd pass on another positive note. Recently we had graffiti on a wall in the alley on the 1500 block of Wood and Cascade. We called the Graffiti Hot Line listed in the phone book. The next day, Don Thompson, coordinator for city graffiti, came out, took pictures of the signs for future reference, and his crew painted over the graffiti immediately. I was impressed with his professionalism, his knowledge of the city's graffiti vandals and his perseverance in pursuing the people responsible.
