Welcome to those of you who are new to the Old North End Neighborhood of Colorado Springs, Colorado! In order to acquaint you with our neighborhood, its history, accomplishments, and other pertinent information and to update those of you who have lived here awhile, we have put together this website.
Please take a look at the summary of the Old North End Master Plan. This will tell you the objectives and recommendations for the neighborhood as developed by the ONEN Board and approved by the Colorado Springs City Council. You will also find maps that illustrate the plan. Currently, we are reviewing and revising the plan, even as we move forward to implement it.
Are you interested in accessing information on tax credits? Do you want to research the history of your house and apply for a historic house plaque? Do you want to learn more about the history and architecture of the North End or find out more about our excellent schools? Information to help you with these and other questions can be found on this site. We are now offering two $500 scholarships for graduating high school students who are pursuing a higher education opportunity. Click here for the application form.
We hope you will join The Old North End Neighborhood, your neighborhood association, and take part in its annual spring meeting. Dues are only $35 per year and help the Board work to represent homeowners and renters in the neighborhood as well as to finance the biannual newsletter. A membership form for this purpose is located on this site. The latest newsletter can also be found on this site.
